电磁仓壁激振器是附加在机械和设备上用以产生激励力的装置，也是利用机械振动的重要部件。

    按照激励型式的不同,电磁激振器分为惯性式电动式、电磁式、电液式、气动式和液压式等型式。电磁激振器可产生单向的或多向的，简谐的或非简谐的激励力。
    惯性式激振器利用偏心块回转产生所需的激励力。单向激励力惯性式激振器一般由两根转轴和一对速比为1的齿轮组成。两根转轴等速反向回转,轴上两偏心块在Y方向产生惯性力的合力。工作时将激振器固定于被激件上，被激件便获得所需的振动。在振动机械中还广泛采用一种自同步式惯性式激振器。这种激振器的两根转轴分别由两台特性相近的感应电动机驱动,而且不用齿轮,依靠振动同步原理使两个带偏心块的转轴实现等速反向回转，从而获得单向激励力。
